Hand stripping is the best method of stripping wood and antique furniture.

The reason that hand stripping the only method of stripping we offer is because wood is like a sponge.

If you look at a slice of wood under the power of a microscope you would see a semi pours structure similar to a sponge. That is why we only do hand stripping. Overflow, dip or dunk style of stripping compromises the integraty of your item. The cell structure of is designed by nature to absorb moisture. This moisture, in the form of a chemical acid seeps in to the wood and as it dose the wood swells.
